Meet DANTA Board Member- Dr. Kevin Hunt

Kevin D Hunt is Professor of Anthropology and Animal Behavior, Indiana University. His forthcoming book is titled Chimpanzee: Lessons from our Sister Species. Prof. Hunt specializes in early hominin evolution, particularly the evolution of bipedalism, primate locomotion and posture, chimpanzee functional morphology and ape and human ecomorphology. He has studied seven species of primates, including chimpanzees, baboons and redtails. He has studied chimpanzees at Gombe, Mahale, Kibale-Kanyawara and Semliki. He founded the Semliki Chimpanzee Project in 1996 and has directed it since. He has over 100 scientific publications.
